late yesterday afternoon . DH and I was putting firewood in basement. Old time cellar.I went down to restack wood. Didn't tell DH that I was going to do it. He threw more firewood through window. Got piece SMACK IN MOUTH. Thought was going to my customer-He's a Dentist. Or Other Customer. She works ER doctor. But lot of ice and pain pills. (((( Very)))) swelled lip-and DARK black and blue :'( :'(
Oh, you poor dear! That was such an unfortunate thing to happen to you. I bet your husband felt as bad about it as you do, even though it was just one of those awful accidents. Keep up with the ice and pain killers and you'll heal quickly. We'll all keep our fingers crossed for you to be comfortable and non-black & blue soon!
Nasty!!! Your poor husband must have been feeling awful after that incident. Let him pamper you now until you feel more like yourself. Thank goodness none of your teeth were knocked out and that you didn't have to have stitches. I hope the bruising and swelling go down rapidly and that you're able to eat, drink and sleep alright. Any chance of a photograph?
Ouch! I keep arnica gel/cream on hand for bruising. It really works. i usually get it at a natural health pharmacy OR through Swansonvitamins.com. I slather it on and leave it to absorb in. Last year my daughter got nailed right in the fore head at school and by the time she got home it was bruising and swollen, I slathered it on and covered it with gauze, the next morning I took off the gauze, the gauze was yellow from drawing out the bruising and her fore head looked perfectly normal. No bruising left at all. It was absolutely amazing. You may not want to eat the cream, but I do know it, also, comes in a homeopathic edible form. Hopefully you heal fast. many years ago was in bad car accident. Had to have surgery on my nose.Jerry was helping me out of hospital. Little lady come and hit him. And said you *** bully. after telling her I just had surgery. Said "Stick up for Him.
Oh my...definitely got a shoulder-hunching cringe from me as I read your post. That had to hurt so badly...the unexpectedness of it too would have been a jolt. Feel better!
Today still getting lots of stares.Doesn't hurt as much. But cleaned dentist office. He checked me over-said was lucky.And we cleaned Doc's house. We are good friends with Her also.She said I was very lucky. And If I went to ER. would be asked if I was afraid to go home.Required to ask.And she works ER-so would have had to ask DH.But going to put different type of window in-dentist said he could make it for us. One we can take out from outside and lock
