We were fortunate. Although strong winds, heavy rain, and possible tornadoes were predicted for our area, we actually received 7/8" of rain, no strong winds, and no tornadoes.
We had to dry off a cat who came to the porch to get fed and cuddled, and my husband put on boots to go to the barn since the path tends to puddle.
The temperature dropped, and is supposed to be very fall-like for the next week. We can accept that!
