We had a meeting about 3 hours from our home. It lasted till noon and we all left in different directions. We used the gps and took all the secondary roads that had garden centers along the way. We found some hum-dingers. One we will drive 2 hours to and visit them again. How we have to plant things before we begin the mulching in the morning....I picked up white birch, a couple 3 odd Maple trees, 5 odd coleus plants, and many many more items

Yea like an old school bus...LOL That would be nice. When we get these into the ground, you will never see the newly added ones. Spread over 2 and half acres, it's a drop in the bucket. We ordered about 600 metal labels this morning. I am sure that won't get a quarter of them, but it's a start.

hey Barb - I see in the original post you say that you went out of your way to visit some garden centres ....can I ask what do you think makes a good garden centre? or does it come down to personal opinion?

No....We go to all garden centers that our GPS lets us pass. We stop at very large gardens centers but just love to visit mom and pop places. We are willing to give money to the small places first. We will visit sometimes over 20 places in a day. This is what we did yesterday. Sometimes when we unload our car I feel like a garden center. LOL

Most of these plants will be planted in our gardens and some will be put in pots and kept in the green house for the Winter. Some plants I just bought to supply my tortoise some flowers for the Winter.

GPA O'Sullivan, You asked me such a curious question.....Why is this????
