It is actually the garden created by the Bandy's when they owned the property from the 1930's to the 1960's. Thankfully subsequent owners of the property maintained them and the present owners also started a Garden Center and Nursery across the road, have improved the demonstration gardens and have them open for the public to wander through.

I only get to go to the garden center once or twice a year because they are pretty far away. They specialize in native Texas plants and antique Roses and last week when we were there I realized that I have at least one of almost every plant they grow and sell. I did find a dwarf Joe Pye weed and a few other things to buy though. ;)

I have a lot of photos but won't 'bore' you with all of them at once.

That's a large and well-maintained garden. I'm sure the garden centre does good business when all the people come from the garden after been dazzled, and move like sheep to purchase some garden goods :D

Would love to make an excuse to head that way!
You can go ahead and bore us with more photos anytime you're ready! ;)

A lovely garden. I'm glad the present owners are maintaining it. I like the water feature.

Oh Toni, you are an enabler! Go ahead, feed my need to visit gardens, buy plants, dig holes!
I think there may be a trip to Weston in our plans for the fall. My husband has vacation time coming, and we could make it a day trip.
I have looked at your photos several times, and always see something more. Thanks for sharing them!

Very nice gardens to see, Toni. You can't bore me with fotos! :)
It is a shame that it is so far away from you. I can imagine that it would be nice to visit that place several times a year.

It looks like a combination of 'formal' and 'informal' presentations.
I am glad that you showed these.

 What superb gardens!! I love the sculpture and can see myself spending some quality time just wandering around Weston. What a pity there's no chance of me ever seeing those gardens for myself. :(
