Lovely photos of some very nice birds! :stew2: You've got a wide range of feathered friends, but I think I love your furry buddy best. :D I adore squirrels. We've only got red ones here, and they're not easily found either. I spotted three last week. They all had their winter coats on and were busy squirreling nuts away. I'd love to have them on my feeder.

I agree that the woodpecker is a hairy woodpecker and of course a female.

Thank you Kildale....the one on the tray is so large compared to the other ones I have. I couldn't believe it that they were eating on the tray....usually they eat the suet and the sunflower chips that are hanging.

Droopy......we had a friend that had a new roof put on and it took quite a while before they realised that a squirrel had gotten in from a tree and they closed it in. The cat lost quite a bit of weight from the squirrel eating her food and food was missing often off of the counter...I can't really understand how someone wouldn't of noticed it earlier..it must of been a good hider.

Feeders provide such a variety of feathered and furry friends that it becomes hypnotic waiting for the next new creature. I especially enjoy watching during or just after a snowstorm. Great pictures!! I wonder what the Blue Jay is saying to the Dove?

Great shots Sherry. The Jay in the 6th one seems to be telling the Mourning Dove off for sitting on the birdtable. :D
