what color should I paint this house?

I just bought this house in a city park neighborhood. It's being painted soon and I have no idea what colors to choose. I need some opinions. The roof color will remain the same.

 

i actually like those colours there......guess im not much help..hehe..

 

I'd agree with one of the other replies in that I actually like the colours as they are. The green works well with the creme colour. Perhaps it needs a bit of freshening up but I wouldn't change the colours much.

 

In roof you can paint red color and in front side of the house you paint pale yellow.

 

I think stick with the paint scheme that is already on it - just a freshen up - well maybe to change something then paint your front door the same as your window frames.

I am all for conservative looking houses and not falling out with the neighbours.

Only other thing I would suggest is put a lick of paint on the front surfaces of your steps up to your front door.

 

I would recommend something that would lend to it's existing character...
I think I nice sand tone for the overall color, a trim such as a dark grey or chocolate, and a pop of color on the front door with a nice red or green.
I think the archway leading to the front door really supports the color on the front door

I like the colors the way they are as well, and I see the perfect place for a garden...right in front of that tree.

 

I think "brick" color should look great on the lighter area. Leave the other colors as they are now

 

Hey,
i think you should colour the bricks with dark brown colour and on the rest you should use light beige colour.

 

Try to paint it with Light colors. The color there is good, but if you really want to change it, try lavender or light green.

 

How About Something Warm?

Have you considered warming up the color a bit? How about something rustic in sienna or even a deep pumpkin? Interesting color placement will make this home look fantastic. Apply the same color to the 2nd level and underneath the archways. Use a contrasting color on the arches and trim. Go with a standout color on the front door to complete the look.

that color is brilliant by itself. just repaint it with the same color and re-build the sorroundings (ie: the garden, etc) and you're in with a great exterior

 

It needs a bit of freshening up but I wouldn't change the colours much.
