I wonder if your ficus doesn't get too much wind or is perhaps a bit too dry. Some places look almost as if something may have been chewing on the upper layer of the leaf surface. To be truthful, I can't really see the damage well enough.
Give us a little information.... where is it growing, how old is it, has been moved recently, how often do you feed it and with what? So many things cause similar damage that just looking at photos doesn't really help with a diagnosis.
The tree grows by a large window without indirect light. It was moved 6 months ago from my mothers house. At first it dropped a lot of leaves. But just recently since the start of spring the leaves are browning at the tips. I haven't fertilized for a while.
Ficus trees hate to be moved and frequently will lose a lot of leaves until it adjusts to the new space. My first thought is that those leaves had frost damage. Were those leaf tips touching the window glass during a cold snap ? Or they can burn as well if touching the glass depending on how the sun hits the window.
I agree with mart...Make sure it's well watered one time at moving and then spray, spray, spray it for a few weeks....should be fine then....
