I think we frequently complain about many of our garden critters eating our plants or being creepy but what is your favorite garden critter? mine has to be the bees, birds and butterflys I cant choose one, I am afraid of bees so don't like them too close but I respect the work they do in my garden. without them we would be stuck. The birds create hours of entertainment for me watching them feed and chase each other and the butterflys are so delicate and pretty.

In my yard, I love the robins the most because they keep me company while I'm gardening. I also like the bunnies, turtles and ducks but they're not as sociable!

Worms, plenty of worms make for healthy soil.

    Above ground critters, frogs.

Just about every creature that comes into the garden (expect destructive bugs and the neighbours cats.) Hedgehogs, toads, frogs, newts, worms, bees, butterflies - as you can see I can't pick just one. :p

Aw, Eileen, you have hedgehogs? They're so cute. What kind of place do they make to live and what do they eat?

They eat slugs, snails, worms and beetles DaisyBeans and are welcome anytime in my garden. They gather leaves and grass to make a nice bed for themselves then find somewhere warm to sleep through the winter months. We have one that takes up residence under our shed. :stew2:

Little green Chameleons amongst my flowers and a little bunny who took up residence under our shed. The swallowtails are back and so are the wasps, bees and beetles.

I could say turtles or gnomes but I think it would have to be rabbits. I love the cardinals and blue jays we have here too. Not so the armadillo. I'll send him to someone else. dooley

Dooley, don't send him my way, I have my fair share and then some. They have the yard looking like a minefield from digging for grubs.

I didn't realize armadillos were so destructive, Dooley. They look cute to me. But that's what everyone says about our chipmunks and squirrels here.

I love the dragonflies we have here at the lake...so many different varieties, and they eat a lot of mosquitoes!
