Logan Luv sage. So unique and the fragrance is wonderful. Another beautiful plant to add to the list of the many plants you have incorporated in your beautiful garden.
Thank you Pacnorwest, when i planted it i didn't intend to let it flower, but the bees like it so much that i let it.
Thanks Pac, I think this must be an early Dahlia as we have several of the same ones out in various parts of our garden.. Love it when they all begin to bloom.
Lovely Sage plant, Loggie. That looks like one for cooking to me. Oreti, it is so nice to see your wonderful choice of plants. They really do look so nice. It is wonderful having the room to be able to grow such a wide variety of lookers. The wood hip path looks very nice.
Thanks @Sjoerd . I'm not a very organised gardener, if I see something I like I will give it a go. As you can see I also don't go in for colour 'schemes '.. in the natural world plant seeds, runners wander around freely on their own until they find their ideal spot with no regards to what shade their neighbour is..........we have a lot to learn from plants it seems!! Tolerance and living in harmony amongst our fellow beings. The pathways are medium grade shingle.
Looking lovely @Oreti Thanks @Sjoerd and yes the sage is for cooking, i use it for the stuffing at a special time of year to go with the turkey.
These blueish-purple Clems I have running through the Wisteris, so that when the Wisteria blooms out, this will begin blooming a few days after. The colour is almost the same as the colour of the Wisteria. This friendly Clem is also very happy with its place in the garden. This close-up of the Veronicastrum is interesting to me. The Veronicastrum really attracts bags of pollinators. The Campanula is a darker shade of blue than I expected. Finally this Knautia macedonica is looking good again this year.
Sjoerd nice parade and variety of blooms . June is the month that flowers really show their stuff. Very impressive.
