Actually if they're weren't so expensive I'd give them a go. Anything to hide the dreadful brown, grey and bright blue wheelie bins I've got sitting in my front garden.
We have a big green one like that....mmmmm, I wonder whether those things would hold up to the grabby mechanical claws that pick them up to dump the trash into the truck. Probably not. BUT....I feel an inspiration coming on. What if I used them to cover the rusted metal shed out back. I could get the Cottage Garden design and give it a whole new look. What is the conversion rate from pounds to dollars? I bet postage would break the bank tho. I have to find out if there is a US distributer.

I would suggest you make a leaf stencil in a coordinating color and stencil it hither and yon on your bin. Since you are not painting the whole thing even if it gets nicked up some it would still be improved. We got this old aluminum canoe and did it with spray cans and it gets banged up a lot but still looks good. Edit: Photo no longer exists

I can't see the piccies at all!!! I just get 'OOPS!! My image for this link is no longer here.' :'( We're not allowed to paint our bins as they are owned by West Lothian council who supply them. Such a pity because I would have loved to slosh paint all over them.

I have seen those bin covers in town on peoples bins. To be honest, I think that makes them stand out even more! They have become such a common part of most neighbourhoods now that I don't think you really notice them.
I'm not doing anything to my pictures and they are showing on my page just fine. Now I went back and reloaded them at the photo site. If this doesn't work I'm out of :idea:
