Summers are lovely here in the Pacific Northwest but today is a rather blah day outside so been sipping my morning coffee and dreaming where I'd like to be. This came to mind and I could live with being put anywhere in this photo :) CaribbeanCruise2014May 642.JPG

Where would work for you? Pics welcome :) :like:

I am where I want to be--on our little farm with gardens and wildlife and plenty to keep us busy. Sometimes we take a day or two for a quick trip, but we are always very happy to get home again!

I love being at home too, but in the summer (arrive June 1st and leave when the temps here are consistently below 85 degrees which means sometime in November) a cabin up in the Rocky Mountains, about 5500 feet above sea level would be greater. Big porch with comfy rocking chairs overlooking a view that is to die for.

I do agree with you Marlingardener. Home is best but it is nice to get away sometimes. When we go away we are always very happy to get back home. As we say "An Englishmans home is his castle" ;):)

I have been many times and this is where my ashes are 'hopefully' going. One of my favorite places in the rockies, Moraine Lake Banff National Park. Always take a few pictures when I visit there.

Oh, I wouldn't mind floating around in those waters looking at the mountains for eternity, that is gorgeous.

I want to go on another supported long distance bike ride. Or hike the Camino de Santiago de Compostela (sp?).

Gorgeous Kildale...do you have to do it discreetly? Around here you just can't dump ashes where people want to be....not sure what they can do but we were told we could not do it for a loved one. I told my husband if we are still living here to just dump me in my flower bed...it is where I love to be...

I am a home body, not much of an interest in traveling unless it is in an RV so I can take my pets with me....

Having gone through sitting in my recliner for 5 weeks watching TV...not my favorite thing to do...I know this sounds silly but there is nothing I would rather be doing is digging on one of my gardens or being in my greenhouse. I still can't think of getting in there....
