A few months ago a lady offered brugmansia seeds for postage. I have 32 small plants that need to be potted into their own pots.

Last month a lady offered cuttings of Dr. Seuss for postage. All four are growing.

Nice. I have never done them. My hubby loves them so I may try them now that I have my greenhouse cleaned out so they can live there this Winter.

I did try to grow a couple once but our Scottish weather wasn't in the least kind to them. Even keeping them in the greenhouse over winter didn't help. I'm afraid they both died. :(

 As I was watering I see I have a very very large pot out by the pond that hubby took out a while ago. It probably is one of them. It was given to us while visiting Vermont about a million years ago. I used to stand 6 feet tall and, of course, now it is a tall stick with little shoots starting along the lower stem.

    :D

I have a few Brugs too, not sure of the cultivar as they were all gifts.

I had one once... and now I have four :D They are very hardy around here. Just cut off a stem, stick it in the soil and the next thing you have is a very pleasant-smelling plant in your garden. I love mine!
