Does anyone have Velvet Plant. I was hoping someone had it and would share a few slips with me. I would be willing to pay for it and of course the postage, if anyone is willing to share..

Barb, what does this velvet plant look like or does it have a distinctive smell? I am asking because someone dropped me off a plant last week that is a small houseplant like specimen. It has velvety/fuzzy leaves and smells like camphor. I keep meaning to put it on here, but I haven't had time....to ask for an ID because they didn't know what it was either.

Nope, that Gynura is cool looking and I have seen them before, but the plant I have is a soft light green herby smelling plant. I will get a pic up of it soon and ask. I have never seen one of these before and if you want some of it I will send it to you.

I see the velvet plant around every once in a while. The lady that runs the little corner store used to have a big one there. Haven't seen it lately though.
