Two guys were walking by a field and one says, "I C 2 GGs" the other guy says, " M R no GGs, O L I M R GGs" If you reply, please use full words.

I hate abbreviations and never use text speak. Maybe I'm just old fashioned but I like to be able to understand what I hear and read and not spend time trying to work out what abbreviations actually are meant to mean.

I generally skip the abbreviations, too. Maybe I'm too old to understand all of it. I do not text either. I hope everyone can read my posts. Sometimes my typing gets a little mixed up. dooley

I agree with both of you, but this is just an old thing I was told many years ago. Did you read it?

It is really the letter that is the word. I, C is, I see. 2 GG's, is 2 Geegees. M, R, is, Em are, no GG's is, no geegees. O,L, I, is, Oh hell hi. D R GGs is, Dee are geegees. If you see it quick . It goes like this. I see 2 geegees, em are no geegees, oh hell hi, dee are geegees. Or something like that.

I did read it and got the first part but had difficulty with the second. Just can't get my head around these abbreviations so have given up trying.
