Would daylilies grow in pots?

    I just thought of something! I just posted about my daylilies and how the deer always ate the big buds, but do you all think I could grow them in big pots? I wonder if they would winter over like they did at the house. They aren't planted deeply so there shouldn't be any freeze problem.
    Any input from anyone? Thanks much.

    Yes, daylilies in a pot should be no problem. In the spring sprinkle some 10-10-10 granular fertilizer in the pot. You may have to divide the pot every 3-4 years, especially if they are diploids.
