Those are great Philip! Would make good photos for the caption competition. I think the raccoon is my favorite though.
A friend in NC sends them to me,..always make me smile what creatures do under certain circumstances,..yep caption competition shots.
Well Philip I somehow don't think any of those were taken in either Ireland or Scotland do you?!! I have to admit though that they really made me grin from ear to ear.
Oh certainly not Ireland or Scotland,.. but we can always hope,..looking at the weather forecast its looking dismal for both of us,..London is hit badly with the Thames banks breached.
Philip, your photos make me wish I'd taken a picture of the neighbor's cattle, who managed to get across, through, or over the fence and were standing belly-deep in our pond. Eight heifers with beatific smiles on their faces, getting cooled off in Texas summer heat. My personal favorite is the colt in the water trough. Even little ones know how to get comfortable!
The cats under the automobile remind me of lions under an Acacia tree in the Serengeti. Shows that some animals can be very creative in their search for relief from heat. Jerry
