Gulf coast of Mississippi. Hedge row with leaf disease. Top of leaves turning brown with black line or veins.

Well, I just sprayed the infected area with Bayer Advanced Complete Insect Killer for Gardens. Every bug that was mentioned should be killed by this stuff. I will repeat an application in a week and hope for the best. Thanks everyone.

Top photo does look like insect damage for sure, bottom damage typical of spider mites and scale also enjoys the bottom of foliage, but white specks look like old skins, not scale.

Bottom picture looks like holly black spot and you need to treat with a fungucide.......... Something like Fung-noil from Bonide or Dactinel from Ortho.
