    first one CROTON?
    second one DRACAENA?
    i am not very good at varieties, as i haven't got these plants.
    but that's what i believe they are.

    thought the first one was Aucuba japonica, as crotons are more "colorful" ... but i found a pic with a croton looking exactly like yours.

    I have one like the first one ... I know it only by it's cultivar "Gold Dust".

    First photo Variegated Japanese Aucuba aka gold dust, Second photo Dracaena Warneckii. I have had both of these at one time or another, the aucuba is happily growning in the shade garden. sometimes freezes to the ground but comes back. I guess it has shelter from the cold because of the large oaks and woodfence. No longer have the dracaena.
