I will add that there are more than one Weigelia with yellow variegated leaves. I have one myself. I transplanted it October past. The jury is out if it will make it. Let me say though that, I see hopeful signs.

Variegated wiegelia is beautiful. Very nice plant. Likes part shade Part sun. It’s been in my garden many years. Every once in awhile I trim it back to its skivies to rejuvenate the whole plant. Easy care once established and a prolific bloomer.

Weigela florida variegata - lovely plant, and when the new shoots grow after flowering, and then they toughen up (which will take a few weeks), it is very easy to get tip cuttings to strike.
