My neighbor gave me a cutting from her rose bush, but it is pretty woody, more like a tree, lol.....how do I or, can I get it to root, it was just cut yesterday? I need to know what to do with it so I don't lose it. These roses are pink and almost have a citrus scent :stew2:

    Zinnia,
If you will look on the Rose forum, second page, there is a posting "Taking a rose cutting" on which I gave detailed, explicit, and more-than-you-ever-wanted-to-know instructions ( ) on taking and caring for rose cuttings.
If you can't find it, send me a private message and we'll chat about the subject (I promise to try to not bore you!).
