I hope I'm in the right place, cause my rose bush from last year now has MANY buds.
    My problem is Aphids.
They almost killed the bush last year and I'm seeing it start again.
I tried liquid dish soap with no help
If I can control or rid the bush from aphids I will have a beautiful bush.

Philip Nulty gave me a recipe last summer that worked AWESOME!! I will try to find it for you!

    1 Tablespoon of Veg Oil.
1 Tablespoon of Apple Cider Vinegar.
    1 Tablespoon of Liquid Soap.
1 and a half Tablespoons of Baking Soda.
    1 (Teaspoon) of Clear Listerine.

Mix the contents in 1 Gallon of water.
Note do not spray on a sunny day.

Oh thank you so very much... I use many many gallons of stuff. I may go ahead and make up some of this for this year. I always would rather use things like this rather than horrible poisons.

Deanna... does Philips "recipe" work on other varmints... like grasshoppers? I've been battling a whole bunch of small black with orange strip grasshoppers. I tried some of the liquid Sevin dust... they just acted like it was a nice spring shower.

Hi Edlou8181,..as Deanna commented that mix does work and most of the ingredients will be in the house,..even if you just use the Liquid Soap it will help but do use something quickly.
