Hi,
I am new to this forum and I am in desperate need of help! My husband and I have just purchased a new home. I have a 18 month old daughter and luckily she will get her own room. I am very excited about getting her room ready. Basically I have picked out the furniture I want for her but I just don't know what color the walls should be??? It's very frustrating considering her room is small (but big enough for her). Here is what her furniture will be. Please help!!!! I have no idea what color walls would look good. As for flooring, it tan colored carpet.

If it were me, I'd pick one of the lightest colors from the table surface, preferably one with a warm hue to it. Not bluish, but more cream.

I agree with Droopy - a warm cream would look lovely against the pinks, lilacs and blues. A pale colour would also help to make the room look bigger. Maybe put a border paper with a Disney theme to tie in with her her bedding around the room as well to add the final touch for her.

hmm... Would a pale yellow or a pale pink work? Which one would look better. I'm thinking pale yellow because it would go well with table and one of the princesses dress. What do you think?

Yes I think that would look fine as long as it's a pale lemon as too strong a yellow would just look garish. You can buy paints now that are white with a hint of colour in them or maybe you could ask them to blend one for you if they don't have a shade you like. Do let us know how the painting goes and maybe you could take some photographs of the finished room for us.
