Hi all. I think it was in January I got a few hosta roots and planted them. About how long should it take for them to start sprouting? I have seen some thing within the last couple days, but...I have no idea what it is, maybe it's a weed or some other thing growing.

Could anyone describe what I should be on the look out for so I don't pick it thinking it's a weed? Rolling Eyes
Or maybe I should try getting a picture of it?

My hostas look like little cones when they start coming up, Melissa.

A photo of what you have would be nice.
