Welcome to my blog

Category: my garden | Posted: Sun Oct 22, 2006 7:27 pm

Hello everyone and welcome to my blog!!
This blog will be about my garden (of course!!lol!!)my family, pets and daily happenings in my life!!First off I am jubabe's big sister!! She introduced my to Gardenstew!! Thanks jubabe!!
Now about my family I'm married and I have two kids Tyler(20) and Kelsey (8). I live out in the country by next door to jubabe. We have 2 dogs, Tucker and Toby, a cat named Chubby and 2 birds Billy and Teco.
I work for Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ).
I am nursing a broken arm right now!! I was reaching for a hanging basket in my flower garden and fell on the rocks around it and broke the big bone in my arm!! Man it hurt so bad!! Jubabe took me to the hospital and they took X-rays and said yep it was broke but they couldn't put a cast on it I'd have to go see my doctor, so Monday morning my doctor will be putting my cast on. All weekend I've just had a splint on it!! Oh and by the way jubabe is having to type this for me!!LOL!!
Anyways here are some photos of my garden:

This is in my front flower garden. The basket on the right with the yellow pansies is the one I was trying to reach when I fell and broke my arm. Jubabe the sweetie she is, came to my house the next day and actually planted the pansies for me. That's want I intended to do not break my arm!!LOL!!

Ouch!!! I hope your arm feels better once the plaster cast is on. Next time, please, use a step ladder to reach those baskets. You might have fallen and cracked your head not just your arm!!
You're lucky to have a younger sister like Julie - I'd swap her for mine any day of the week!!!
Loved the photgraphs btw especially the elephant's ears. Careful how you go and look after that arm.

Accidents can happen, even gardening ones. Hope it heals soon Ladybug :)

Your garden looks great and nice to see piccies posted so early, we like them a lot.

What is the circular object hanging in the first photo? Look interesting.

Glad you started a blog Ladybug, I guarantee you will like using it :)

Hope you heal fast!

Love the elephant ears. They always seemed so magical to me when I was little.
