Hi Netty and Toni!

In brief, hubby was on his way to the auction, and asked me what I wanted. I half kiddingly said "A kiln."

He brings good things home all the time, but this one took the cake. I was so excited to see it sitting in the living room when I arrived home. Wow!

I ordered a manual and am reading through it. All I need now is a 220 hookup, some kiln wash and some cones, then I can melt some glass, which is my main desire for having a kiln.

If you could only see me smile!

Good for you. I hope you don't end up with an outragious light bill.Sounds like fun.

Sounds fun to me to. Exactly what kind of glass and what are you going to do with it. I am curious. I saw some hearts I would like to know how to make and they looked like melted glass. It was in a magazine and the caption said nothing about the hearts.
