Phase II - From coffee filters to pots.

Category: Gardening effort of '09. | Posted: Sun Mar 01, 2009 4:00 am

Its exactly 11 days since I put the hollyhocks and 4 O'Clock seeds in coffee filter in ziplock bags. A lot of seeds have germinated and some has little leaves sprouting too. So, figured it is time for them to graduate to their pots.

Not so sure about the 4 O'Clocks - they seem to have a little rot on them. Very sweaty and moldy.

Replanted the kalanchoe plant that I bought last month. Also took a little cutting. Lets see how that does.

Saw little shoots in some potatoes that was in the bag for the last two weeks. Mood struck, and one of the potatoes went to the backyard - a little experiment!

Congratulations on your seedlings. :) The kalanchoe look healthy. It's fun to make one's own plants.

Unfortunately, two of the little ones already dried, shrivelled and died :(
I guess they liked their green house(ziplock bag) too much.
