My oldest son headed to Fire College yesterday. He's already gotten his EMT certification and after Fire College he's going to pursue being a paramedic. I can't believe how quickly this time has gotten here. How does it go by so fast?

When I look at my kids I often wonder where the years have gone. It's hard to believe that my eldest son is 42 years old and my youngest is 31. It seems no time since their first day at school!! Your son has chosen a wonderful career to follow and I hope you'll soon be telling us he's a fully operational paramedic.

My youngest went off to college today, too. But she gets to stay at home and commute. yipee. She just turned 18 and I just wasn't ready nor do I think she was either for full time dorm living.
