Extreme Birdhouses ( The Wellington Hotel )

Category: Cranbrooks Lawn and Garden Ornaments | Posted: Tue May 01, 2007 12:01 pm

Hi again everyone
It has been a busy week again for me and i,m not complaining.
This is a birdhouse i started last year but it got put on hold because of winter.

It is made from 120 year old reclaimed barn wood.
This bird mansion measures 5 1/2 ft square and has over 80 apartments.

Cranbrook, They are more than beautiful, your work is of a artist for sure. Must be wonderful to create such things. Will they be at a show on display , or will you sell them or just keep them outside your home for the birds?

John I've been missing you and your birdhouses. It was well worth the wait though to see the bird mansion in all its glory. The cat in the first photographs shows off the scale of the house so well.

Wonderful work John. Does each hole in the house have it's own separate compartment or room on the inside?

Thank you Netty and cajunbelle

There are 80 seperate apartments made from 1/4" plywood.
