Pictures from the past few years...
Category: Michele's Garden | Posted: Wed May 28, 2008 4:45 pm Here are some pictures from the past 2 summers. We bought the house in the fall of 2005 and the one thing I had to have was a gardening plot. I have several perennial beds and a large veggie plot. The first year we planted this Bee Balm plant it only had 5 or 6 stalks, it is a very vigorous spreader!
I love gladiolas. This picture was taken the first week of Sept 2007.
I love sunflowers! I plant several varieties and let them go wild!
Here are some pictures of the tomatoes from the last few years.
Brandywine Plants
String Beans and Pumpkins
We planted way too many pumpkins seeds last year and we harvested about 30 pumpkins. So we are cutting back this year. They took over the entire garden and back yard! More tin men...
More pictures will be coming..I have too many disks and need to sort through. Here are my yellow pears before they ripened. They are a great small tomato, and a vigorous grower. I have read about a vine that grew over 1500 toms on 1 plant! I could never do that with our short growing season but I have gotten over 100 off of 1 plant! they are yummy!

Ohhhh nice nice nice! 30 pumpkins! What i would do for just one. Wonderful garden, and i hope your garden this yr is as prosperous as that one was. Thank you for sharing!
Your Monarda is a lovely sight, I like it when they grow big! The sunflowers are so cheerful, and just the thought of all those pumpkins made me dizzy. *lol* The tin man is a good-looking chap.
i love sunflowers too! had mexican ones too but lost all in hurricane rita!(guess they don't like salt water) my oldest grandchild Kelvin bought me a pack of sunflower seeds to replant so i guess thats my next project Login or register to leave a comment. |
