New flower bed and Tulips are coming up

Category: New flower bed and Tulip bed | Posted: Sat Feb 10, 2007 6:19 pm

This is the flower bed Cheyenne and I filled on my day off.Around it in the border is more bulbs. It looks so unlevel but when out there looking at it it doesn't look that way.

This is a picture of the same bed .I have Pansies,Johnny Jumpups and other plants on the right side and at the top is Snap Dragons.

This one is the Tulip bed Cheyenne and I made in the early fall. The Tulips are coming up all over.I do hope the cold weather and frost doesn't kill them.

Looks good Glenda. What are you going to plant in the raised bed?

Tulip bed with the headboard is cute, that should look really pretty with the tulips all in bloom.

I don't know yet toni I'm try to think about what I can put there to fill it up.I would like to plant a taller one at the top and then gradually bring the size down but I'm afraid I will put the wrong plants and it wont work.Any suggestions .

Wow, you two did a lot of work! Your tulips will be beautiful. Where I come from in Michigan, tulips are grown by the hundreds of acres. Gorgeous. They are not coming up yet tho.

Your garden looks great Glenda. What are you going to plant to climb on the head board. A moonflower vine would be lovely, but might cover the whole head board.
