One very interesting plant; due to the lack of butterflies or bees or other pollinating insects that other plants more commonly rely on for propagation in their environment, the stapelia flowers give of a most horrid and nauseating stench, similar to that of decaying meat. Their flowers are stunning however, and belie their deathlike aroma.
