Coleus plants are considered to be generally nontoxic to humans, although there ARE compounds in the sap that can cause bad reactions if ingested - so don't eat them!

*** They are, however toxic to pets***
If your pet ingests coleus plant parts, it can result in vomiting, diarrhea, and general "lack of wellness". If you suspect that your pet is suffering after ingesting coleus, contact your vet or call the ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center immediately.
