Description: Italian Parsley is the parsley most recipes refer to, with the exception of mid-eastern dishes such as tabouli.

Italian Parsley is known as a blender herb, meaning it will tone down spicy herbs yet add and enhance the lighter herbs making that other herb more noticeable, such as chervil, (also known as 'French Parsley' and known for it's light delightful cucumber taste). Chervil is also a cool weather herb where the parsleys are more Mediterranean and love the scorching heat.

Curley parsley in the U.S. is more decorative than culinary although as with any herb there are mutliple ways different ethnicities use them.

If you have Monarch butterflys in your zone I can tell you their number one delicacy is curley parsley so if you leave in the a.m. and come home in the p.m. and your curley is now nubs you can blame that beautiful creature, the monarch butterfly. However great conservation effort!!!
