I was very surprised that it didn't heave up out of the ground. I think the opening may be too large at top. I do see something sprouting in one or two of these, but i'm not sure yet if that's what I planted there. If I tried this again, I'd use a larger container/lid with drilled holes, and make sure it was secure.
