Don't have to wait til spring, daisybeans, unless you're sowing tender annuals. You know those seeds that require cold, then warm temperatures to germinate? Instead of trying to emulate nature, just put the seeds, protected, outside. I sowed these in January. One of the best things about this method is you don't have to harden off your little seedlings. It was my first attempt at wintersowing. If you're curious, you can learn more at wintersown.org :)
