Hi. I have a few clumps of culinary Rhubard growing and this pic taken this morning shows it already getting cracking - totally unprotected out in the open. I grow it for its foliage - makes a good impact amongst other differing plants/foliage. Syd.

I grow rhubarb too Syd but use it for making jam, pies, tarts, sorbet etc. It's also unprotected and thrives beside our compost bins and gives us a great crop every year.:)

I love rhubarb so much. Mom is a rhubarb tart/pie expert! Ok I'm going to start talking about rhubarb now as I'll just get hungry. Rhubarb, rhubarb, rhubarb.

I grew mine from seeds. Last year I left a few bloom to get seeds. I still have seeds. If anybody wants seeds PM me. I have a recipe for a great dessert and a drink using rhubarb. I'll post those on the recipe forum.
