Yes Barb there is a Hobbies & Crafts forum. You will find it listed on the home page. I have just moved this topic to it.

Am working on several crochet projects this winter. At work we have been working on afghans to give to a battered womens shelter. At home I am working on hats and mittens for next winter for the needy.

    crocheting

What type of afgans are you making?

What stitch do you use? Did you ever do Intarsel crochet? Not sure that is spelled correct.

Right now we are just doing a basic granny square. I have a lot of yarn from various projects over the years and we are making one large granny square instead of individual ones. We just go around and around until it looks big enough or we are tired and want to start another one.

Dropping and picking up the colors nearly drove me to the funny farm.

I've never tried any thing like that but is is very pretty. I agree changing colors is a pain.
