My brother wants to know how far apart you need to plant cucumbers and cantaloupe so they don't cross pollinate. He doesn't want cucumber flavored canteloupe. dooley
According the Texas A & M agriculture website, cross pollinating in the curcurbit family is very rare and if it does happen it won't show up in this years produce but if you save the seeds it could show up next year. http://aggie-horticulture.tamu.edu/arch ... talou.html
