I've waited over a year for these little leaves! Didn't think they were ever going to come! :stew1:

Let's hope those tiny leaves are the beginnings of many more. Thank goodness you didn't do what some folks do and throw out the plant. I've rescued a few 'dead' plants that people have discarded and they've thrived for me.

You can see why people would throw this plant out though can't you! It looks pretty dead otherwise! :D

Looks like a mouse with weird sunglasses! :D
Congrats on your leaves... and on having the patience to wait for them.

I am so happy for you Joe Caudex. It can be frustrating when they show no signs of life for a long time.BUT, you know that.....

So many people ask me why I would ever want to keep fatplants and my succulents, especially when they are at rest. At that time I like to let them sleep for I know when they wake up, they will give me great pleasure. I think they are beautiful and awesome. I say, whatever floats their boat. :D

I usually keep the vines makers on their own little trellis but I think there is one fatplant, out in the greenhouse, that will be allowed to go wherever it wants to. What's nice is that if I don't like where it goes when it dies down to rest I can take it down and guide it away from certain area the next time.
