Went along the coast a few miles to where I usually see the harlequin ducks. There were a couple there so I managed a couple of shots. No as good as I would of liked at is was raining and rather dull. You can see a couple of splashes in the water. Perhaps next time.
Oh well Kildale, your "disappointing" shots are what the rest of us dream of! Lovely duck, lovely photo, and if any bird is out in the rain, it would be a duck, wouldn't it?
Well I think your photograph is great and I'm not at all jealous of it. Just look at the clarity of the water droplets on the back of the duck!! One day I hope to aspire to taking shots as good as yours but don't hold your breath.
