Have I killed my houseplant?

    Well friends I think I screwed up again.
    My soil is either too wet or dry and I have a moisture meter.
    Maybe the pot is to small.
    That's why I come here for help.

    OUCH!! I would cut the dead top off the plant, water the plant, let the top heal and hope.
    Otherwise the plant may continue to deteriate. After the top is cut off the inside should not be mushy. I doubt that that will be the case as it appears to have not been watered for some time. The surviving plant will not look like the previous top as that is a graft but it may grow small new shoots that resemble the parent stock.
