Hi there, from the wild and rainy Pacific Northwest. My wife and I have just bought a small place, and I'm excited about the idea of working on the grounds, and learning to grow things. Right now I'm not much of a gardener at all! But I'm looking forward to learning, and getting past the cactus stage of my green career. Looking forward to meeting some great people here, JJ.
You'll find lots of knowledgeable folks here Jack who'll be more than happy to help you out. So any questions you have, whether you think them trivial or not, simply ask and we'll do our best to make sure your garden grows well for you. Welcome to our worldwide community from Scotland.
Welcome from a small farm in central Texas! We are all beginning gardeners, in one sense or another, so don't hesitate to ask any questions you have.
Hi Jack, welcome to GardenStew from north central Texas, glad to have you with us.. Ask any questions you have someone will be able to help at which point some of us will say "I didn't know that" and we will have all learned something new about gardening.
Hi Jack and a warm welcome from GardenStew What an exciting time for you and your wife to have a new place to use as a blank canvas for your gardening. Wishing you the best of luck and of course we can help out here.
Hey there. When you first said you're from WA, I immediately thought you meant West Australia!! Because that's where I'm from originally and it's always s shortened to that, at least by fellow Aussies. Welcome from this transplanted Aussie, currently living in Nashville Tennessee!
Welcome from a rainy Wisconsin. I was through Washington on the train once but live here in Wisconsin. We do have a son who lives in Washington though. Maybe sometime we will visit there. dooley
Welcome from the snowy Idaho Mountains. We lived for years in eastern Washington for years and was also north of Seattle for 1 1/2 years. I couldn't believe the amount of rain we got but the local people said the area was in a drought at that time! Absolutely the prettiest country we'd ever been in. Our son lives on Whidbey Island and when we visit him, we might be able to meet you!
