Hi all. Our first spring in our first home & looking to cover up or at least partially camouflage the gas meter/boxes/ac unit along the side of our house. We removed an arbor vitae that was growing under the over hang of the roof and now all I can see are those ugly boxes! I have a border of river rock along the house. Was thinking maybe a dwarf magnolia or ornamental grass. Any ideas? Zone 4b

You need to check with your utility providers before trying to hide them. They require free access to them for billing purposes and maintenance. And don't close in your AC unit with anything that blocks air flow or it will not work properly and eventually be damaged to the point of having to replace it.
