I can almost feel myself walking down that lovely tree lined path watching Molly with her beloved tennis ball. I wonder what our dogs would do if they were ever taken off the market? Mass doggie rebellion - doesn't bear thinking about!! :snicker:

Eileen,..its a fairly long walk,..the river is just to the right of that tree lined path,..six foot away,..perhaps you might come visit someday and see it,..there are days i meet nobody,..other days its dog walkers.

Carolyn,..very tranquil,..close enough to my house for a daily walk.

Molly has to be kept on a lead of late,..she lost her hearing,..up to this she could be let loose anywhere and would respond when called to sit or come back,..i was experimenting with my wireless headphones,..playing music,..lo and behold Molly just lies there and must hear something.

What a pity they can't make hearing aids for dogs. Poor Molly won't be too pleased about being kept on the lead even although it's for her own benefit. Give her an extra cuddle from me.

Thank you folks,..i think she can feel the vibration of the music,..i don't have it turned up too high.

I did think about hearing aids for dogs,..surprisingly to date i have never come across anything,..hearing aids for humans are expensive enough so its out of the question to get one or two of them and rig up some way of keeping them on Molly's ears.

Probably thinking the old fella has lost it,..who said that?,..come to think of it i am now around for just over seven decades :),..by coincidence i have a medical check tomorrow afternoon,..my yearly one,..nothing amiss so far unless one counts deafness in one ear for the past few days,..probably wax seeing i managed to clear some out with a screwdriver .

I am lucky to have a small park about 100 yards from my front door,..another one just across the town bridge was about the same size,..while i was away on holiday the Local Authority increased its size ten fold,..it goes right out into the countryside,..Molly could be let off the lead to inspect the work completed.

The tall trees in the middle was where the park used to end.
