The White Crowns have been at the suet feeder near the patio, and then for some reason come to the patio and peck around. Can anyone tell me why they are interested in the patio? It doesn't have any spilled seed on it,and we can't see anything that would attract them.
I have them too. They are diggers always looking for something under and around edges of the patios. Everyday I see them on the back covered patio always kicking up the pea gravel makes a mess to sweep up. It’s been tricky to keep the hummer feeder from freezing . I rotate a few daily after inside to thaw out , bring in the frozen feeder to thaw out for dinner time. They have really been harassing me whenever I go outside they pop in and beep at me follow me around the house windows until I see them. Sometime I wonder who has who trained,
