I got a card and a beautiful bouquet of flowers from Ian today and for a moment couldn't think why. At first I presumed he must have done something wrong and was apologising. When it clicked I dashed through to the craft room made him a card and produced it hoping he wouldn't realised I'd forgotten the date.
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY YOU TWO. I had to laugh that you forgot your anniversary, almost since the beginning 35 years ago I forget whether ours is the 20th or 22nd of May. We have a plaque on the bedroom wall with the date on it and I have to refer to it sometimes to remind myself.

Our anniversary is coming up in August. Having a 54th one so we probably won't forget it. But, you all can remind me when the 26th of August comes closer. I hope you have/had a great anniversary, Eileen and Ian. The years pass quickly and it's easy to look past the important dates when you are busy and together doing all sorts of wonderful things. dooley
