I was looking out the window this morning and to my surprise I had 2 ducks walking through my yard....walking all of the way across.... When they got to the bird feeding area (Pergola) they decided to stop to see what was on the ground. Usually we only see them flying overhead... Wonderful! Mallards are so handsome. We only have them at a distance on our pond, but you have "backyard" ducks!

Maybe they'll like what they see and stick around. Who knows they might even raise a family in your garden.

That's great! The ones I raised ate chicken feed and nibbled on my veggies, but never enough to hurt the plants. I hope they stay around as they are beautiful ducks and fun to watch.

I guess we must not have passed their test for a home....maybe that is best. I would have to watch my dogs every minute in case a young one wondered near them....I do see them flying overhead a lot.
