My tulips changed colors

    Last year when I took pictures of the tulips they were red.

    This year when I took the pictures they were a pinkish orange.

    They changed colors. Why? Dooley

    Dooley I have no clue why they changed colors, but they are still very pretty!
    Tulips are my favorite flowers! I'm sure someone here will be able to answer why they changed!! I really like the cute little cow in the photo too!!

    The only time I know when tulips change colour is when they are attacked by Tulip fire (a virus), however this usually gives rise to multi-coloured flowers which look like flames, hence the name. The leaves often have a silvery sheen to them if that is what has happened.
