Recently I've been asked to make a few anniversary and wedding cards. I thought you might like to see the latest designs I came up with.

I really enjoy making these special, boxed cards and personalising them for the couple they are being sent to.

How long does it take Eils? Do you use stencils? I think the detail is great, well done :)

Yes Toni I do everything from scratch. I love making these cards and find it very therapeutic. It normally takes me a few hours to make each one - including the boxes. So glad you all like them. :-D

ONLY a few hours? Wow! I figured it would take days since they are so detailed.

Eileen, those are truly works of art. Anyone lucky enough to receive one of your cards will treasure it for years.
Hours? Many of us could spend hours just trying to think of a design that lovely. Inspired? Yes, you are!

Lovely Eileen. I take it Ron and Mary is our Rosebud? You are very clever and artistic. I would be delighted to receive something as beautiful as those.

Those are terrific cards, Eileen. What a talent you have. I am also curious to know how long it takes you to make one of those little masterpieces.
The detail work is especially remarkable.

Yes EJ Mary is indeed Rosebud. She will be celebrating their 50th Anniversary with Ron on the 17th June so I'll be posting their card on Monday to make sure it arrives in plenty of time.
