Hi there and welcome from NE Texas !! If I may make a recommendation, keep the stem all the way to the ground sprayed for the squash borer. By the time you see them they will already have attacked the root and the plant will be a goner! I am overloaded with both types of squash at the moment. Any good recipes please pass them my way.

Thanks, all. I'm getting things ready to drive down this weekend to see my kid graduate with her Bachelor's! I'll have to try to catch up with everything when I return.

We shared two zucchini and a pile of tomatoes (ours), drizzled over some sweet potato rounds (disks? grocery store, but still yummy) with dinner. Sounds odd, but it was great; cooked lightly with Irish butter.
